Social Club
A few snaps from Social Club in Paris at the weekend. This was my debut Paris show and I was playing alongside Alan Braxe, Alex Gopher and Das Glow for the Vulture party. Vulture is Alan’s label and also the home for the release of Lesson One (details will be announced very soon!).
DJ Falcon turned up for a surprise set, which was stopped halfway through by a beer being spilt on the power...
Rockness - The Evidence
I played at Rockness this weekend for Bacardi and therefore ending up drinking quite a lot of.. Bacardi. Looking back on these photos now, I don’t remember taking a lot of them - that means a great time was had by all. Massive kudos to everyone that didn’t care about the rain and just wanted to rave their balls off, especially everyone during my back to back set with Alex Metric, Russ...

Amazing Blaggers
I was forwarded this email from my manager yesterday, a couple of students obviously desperate for tickets to the sold out Trinity Ball in Dublin I’m playing tomorrow (alongside Alex Metric, Simian Mobile Disco, The Streets, Katy B and loads more). They’ve got to have huge balls, and they probably sent it to every act playing, but they’ve definitely got a couple of passes from my...

Lesson One_FINAL_Ref 6 (Alt Kick) NEW
Thats the name I’ve got for my latest mix of Lesson One, I’m being a little bit (very) nit-picky. Thats also a pic of the compressor working hard while bouncing down; well, a button on the compressor anyway. Shooting the video next week. I finished the B-side last week too, all is plowing ahead.
Details soon, I promise.
Help Japan Fundraiser
Amazing night, congrats and thanks to Ronnie and his team for sorting everything out, money was a’flowin and I’m sure a huge amount was raised. Thanks to all of you that came down, you good people. Here’s a few snaps I got.

Boobs?
If you’re wondering why the blog title is ‘Boobs?’, I just wanted to get your attention. So if you’re here now reading this, it worked, and it’s not me who’s the pervert, it’s you.
Now we’ve got that out of the way, here’s a nice picture.
Still got your attention? Great!

Fisheye Travels
I’d completely forgotten about a Fisheye camera I bought last year that I took everywhere with me. I finished the film in July/August I think, and only just got it developed. I’d only really been using it to catch 2 or 3 snapshots of all the cities I was visiting. Pretty nice looking back at them having forgotten even taking them. Here’s a few that I like.

Starsmith & Gold Dust Presents...
Winter is fast approaching, and now that the Coke advert is on TV, we all know that the holidays are coming. December quickly becomes full of Xmas parties and rowdy get togethers, and why not? We all love a party! Well, I’ve mentioned the 8th of December a few times on twitter and warned you all to keep it free. If you didn’t, then grab a box of tissues because you’ll probably...

Braxe x Chimes x Smith
I love this photo so bloody much - taken during the back to back set we did at my single launch.
Alan looks surprised because Russ had just dropped the Grease Megamix, I’m so sweaty because I was halfway through the dance routine.

THIS IS GOING TO BE MASSIVE.
Tickets
Freeze
I played at Freeze Festival on Sunday which shares its location with Battersea Power Station. I’ve only ever seen it whilst going past on trains and it looked epic, but seeing it from the ground was something else. It’s such an amazing building, you feel a bit wobbly just looking up to the top of the chimneys.
Midnight Club
My good chum Russ Chimes has released his Midnight Club EP into the world today. By now you should have all seen the quite honestly AMAZING 3 part video that accompanies the EP, if not then give yourself 15 minutes and turn your speakers up quite loud.
You can get your hands on the EP here, and you can watch the trilogy below.

2/3
2/3. That’s where I am. That’s how I see this album. My album. It’s always been divided into thirds - writing, producing/recording, finishing. And when I say finishing, I mean getting to that point with each track where you can actually say “I’m finished.” Some tracks I wrote 18 months ago, before I even thought about having my own album, and I’ve only...

I like this a lot. That chorus at 1:45 - gonna be in my head all bloody day. They’re playing at my single launch party in a couple of weeks (here).

Hang With Me
I finished this mix for Robyn a couple of months ago, just a few days before seeing her show in London. The original is amazing, and sounded fantastic live.
I hope you like my take on it.
